There’s a lot of information included in orientations and CPG training sessions. It’s possible that you might learn a few things that you forgot or never knew about. Plus, for experienced members, it’s an opportunity to help the chapter’s training programs by suggesting additional topics to be covered in orientation or CPG training. How
do I bring prospects to activities? Some members find it difficult to invite others to Jaycee projects or to ask people to join. However, member recruitment is an excellent opportunity to practice and develop sales skills. If you
can’t find any prospects, your Membership VP should be able to
supply you with qualified leads (people who’ve indicated an interest
in membership and have called or emailed the chapter). From these leads,
you can follow-up and invite them to projects and encourage them to
join. |
